Grove Lodge was founded in the early 1950s and our Hospital, built in 1958, was one of the first private veterinary hospitals in the country. We pride ourselves on the depth and breadth of expertise we offer, including referrals for dermatology, medicine, orthopaedics, ophthalmology, physiotherapy and small animal surgery. We have forged links with the local health authority, enabling us to use the MRI scanner at Worthing Hospital to aid diagnoses of tumours, neurological and spinal problems.
Grove Lodge has always been a pioneering veterinary practice and we now have over 80 members of staff working from 6 locations across Sussex. We are extremely proud of the qualifications and commitment of all our staff, and hold the prestigious Investor in People National Standard.
Our philosophy is to be the best possible first-call practice with 24 hour cover at all times, with continuing investment in our Hospital and branch surgeries. The Hospital was completely refurbished in 2005. The maintenance of such high standards enables us to diagnose and treat all the common complaints that pets are likely to suffer, effectively, efficiently and economically, as well as rare and serious conditions requiring specialist knowledge and equipment. We aim to ensure continuity of care for all our patients so that they are treated by vets who know them and who are able to provide the most appropriate therapy.
Our Hospital is open 365 days a year 24/7, with trained staff on the premises at all times.
