24 Hour Emergency Service
Our Hospital, which is located at Upper Brighton Road, Worthing - is open for emergencies 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Trained staff are always on the premises. Grove Lodge are able to see emergency cases for registered clients and those of Companion Care, Pet Doctors and Anicare (Goring) who have agreements with us so that we are able to provide an emergency service for their clients out side normal surgery hours.
In the event of an emergency during our normal consultation times, please contact your usual branch in the first instance. Details for all of our surgeries are listed in the contacts section.
For security reasons, please telephone before you arrive. Arrangements will then be made to examine your pet at the Hospital with the minimum of delay. If you are phoning from a mobile or call box, please give us your telephone number so that we call you back if you are cut off. It is very distressing when an animal is injured, but do try to stay calm and give us as much information as possible so that we can give you the best advice.
Please do not offer injured animals any food or drink since the veterinary surgeon may need to administer an anaesthetic (this is safer if the pet is brought in on an empty stomach).
