Nicola Bromley

BVSc Cert SAM, MRCVS

Nicola Bromley qualified from Bristol University in 1999. She has been with Grove Lodge since 2002 and has developed her role in the practice from first opinion assistant to becoming our senior hospital clinician. She acquired her Certificate in Small Animal Medicine in 2006 and is keen to expand the medicine referral work at the practice. She is happy to see all types of medicine referrals but is especially interested in gastroenterology, critical care and endocrinology.

Nicola sees referral cases from within the practice and external medical referrals and is happy to give advice whenever possible. We have a well-equipped hospital with adjunctive support from the imaging and surgical teams.

Nicola recently set-up a blood donor scheme giving us access to a register of animals (including her own labrador, Bertie) that have been typed and health checked and are readily available for transfusions at short notice.

Nicola enjoys challenging medical cases and her background in first opinion work will enable her to give practical advice to both owners and referring vets.
